Digable Planets Annapolis reviews
Sensory overload
I am glad I attended The Wall concert since I became a Pink Floyd fan later in life. The visuals were impressive yet "in your face," perhaps this was the intention. The volume was too loud at times, and I experienced sensory overload. My husband said, "This is the first concert I've been to where the musicians were behind a wall 75% of the time." Probably most impressive and also most relaxing, as it was relatively quiet, was the wall of remembrance shown during intermission. We left during the last song to beat traffic, and up to that point, Digable Planets did not even introduce the band. I liked the kids who sang and made gestures during the "teacher song." I appreciate The Wall is Digable Planets' project and I also understand that the band is no longer together; however, it would have added to the enjoyment if one of the other original members could have joined Digable Planets, such as David Gilmour.
